I joined the courses which will enhance my knowledge.
I have been given the task of writing something at my leisure,
but I can say that this work is my pleasure.
I am hungry and I shall go to the canteen
cause, I didn't bring my own tiffin.
Then next I don't know what I'll do,
if I find it I'll surely tell you.
The Guruji (to one of his disciples ):"Narayandas, this town looks lovely from here. Just look out, if we get some alms we, can worship the lord.
The disciple Narayandas : "Guruji, this town seems very beautiful but it will be a pleasure if we get a handsome amount of alms".
Guruji (tells his other disciple) :"Gowardhandas, you go towards the west and Narayandas you go towards the east".
Gowardhandas (goes and stops at the grocery shop, then he asks ):"what is the rate of this wheat ", the shopkeeper replies" one rupee".
Gowardhandas: And rice?
shopkeeper: One rupee.
Gowardhandas: And sugar?
Shopkeeper: That too one rupee.
(Gowardhandas walks further and stops at a fast food shop. And their conversation goes on).
Gowardhandas: What is the rate for this bhaja?
The female shopkeeper: Oh! Babaji that's for one rupee.
(Gowardhandas got so happy as he moved forward that he stops at a sweet shop).
Gowardhandas: What is the rate of all these sweets?
The shopkeeper: Everything is for one rupee.
Gowardhandas: Oh! Wow, this is amazing, really, it is all for one rupee?
The shopkeeper: Yeah! yeah, Babaji, it is true, everything is for one rupee. Everything in our town is sold for one rupee.
Gowardhandas: Why kid, what is your's town name?
The shopkeeper: The dark town
Gowardhandas(with joy): The dark town, the destroyed king, one rupee for bhaji, and one rupee for khaja.
The shopkeeper: Baba, if you want to buy something, then buy.
(Gowardhandas takes the sweet and goes to meet his guruji).
Guruji: Gowardhandas , what alms did you get? your bag seems heavy.
Gowardhandas: Guruji Maharaj, I Got 7 rupee alms, and from that money, I bought 3 and a half rupee sweets.
Guruji: Oh! which town is that?
Gowardhandas: The dark down, the destroyed king, one rupee for bhaja, and one rupee for khaja.
Guruji: Then, it is better not to stay in such a town. Where the khaja and bhaja are sold for just one rupee.
Gowardhandas: Guruji, in this entire world there is no town of the such kind where by having just 2 rupees, we can relieve our empty stomach, I will not leave this town.
Guruji: Listen, you will regret it afterwards , I will not stay in this town even for 1 sec. See, kid trust me, and listen to me or else you have to regret it afterward. I am going, just wanna say, if you will fall in any trouble here, then just remember me.
(Gowardhandas sits in a jungle and starts eating sweets).
(A poor man from The Dark town goes to the king goes to the king).
Maharaj: Say, what's the problem?
The poor man: Maharaj, the grocery Kallu's wall fell, and my goat died by getting buried under that wall. Oh Maharaj, please do the justice.
Maharaj: Oh! okay, go grab and bring that Kallu grocer.
(The constables brought Kallu.)
Maharaj: kallu explains why his goat got buried under your wall.
Kallu: Maharaj! it's not my fault the carpenter made the wall weak so that's why it collapsed.
Maharaj (tells his constables): Okay leave this Kallu and bring that carpenter.
Carpenter: Maharaj! I am innocent, the cement maker gave me the bad cement.
Maharaj: Okay, so this is the case, then call that cement maker.
(The carpenter goes and the cement makers come.)
Maharaj: Hey cement maker, why did you give the bad cement?
Cement maker: Maharaj! I am innocent, my worker added a lot of unrequited water, and that is the reason why the cement got weak.
Maharaj: Okay then call the workers.
(Constables then bring the worker and send the cement maker).
Maharaj( To the worker): Why did you add unrequited water.
The worker: Maharaj! this slave has no fault the butcher made the water bag so large, that is the reason why the unrequited water got poured.
Maharaj: Okay! leave him and bring that butcher.
(the butcher arrives.)
Maharaj: Oh butcher, why did you make the water bag so large huh?
The butcher: Maharaj! I have no fault the herdsman sold a giant wolf in one rupee so that's why the bag came to be made big.
Maharaj: Okay leave the butcher and bring that herdsman.
(A constable brings the herdsman).
Maharaj: Oh brother, why did you sell a big sheep?
The herdsman: Maharaj, I have no fault, there were a group of policemen coming in their jeeps so, I didn't think of big, small sheep. I am innocent.
Maharaj: Oh! leave him he is innocent, go catch that policeman
(The Policeman comes).
Maharaj: Hey policeman! Why were you taking such a ride that the herdsman got nervous and had to sell the big sheep?
Policeman: Maharaj! I am innocent, I usually go on a ride to manage the town.
The Mantri( thinks ): This is so strange, the king is so foolish, I fear if he calls the entire people of the town and hangs them to death.
The Mantri ( speaks abruptly): No, why did you take out your ride in an uproar.
Maharaj: Yeah, yeah why did you take your ride in a such uproar that a goat died?
The Policeman: Maharaj! Maharaj!.
Maharaj: No Maharaj, Maharaj, take him and hang him to death.
(Gowardhandas is still enjoying his sweets in the jungle.)
Gowardhandas ( speaks alone): Guruji asked me to leave this town. I agree that this town is in a very bad state, but why do I care. I am not involved in any work here so why should I fear.
(Four constables surrounded Gowardhandas showing their arrows. a constable then speaks)
Constable: Hey brother, let's go, we'll hang you to death now since you are too fat.
Gowardhandas: Oh brother, I have not ruined anything of yours, what kind of justice is this. Joking with "sadhus" is a crime.
A constable: Then, now when you'll be hanged then you'll realise is it a joke or a choke. Are you coming with us nicely? or should we have to be brutal?
Gowardhandas: what is the actual thing that you are taking me to be hanged.
Constable: The story is this a policeman was sentenced to death, but when we took him, the rope which is supposed to choke his neck was a bit larger in size so, he didn't fit in that hanging rope. So our Maharaj asked us to look out for a fat man and hang him to death, because an innocent goa died, and for justice, someone has to be sentenced to death.
(Gowardhandas started yelling and crying loudly, hey Prabhu! hey Prabhu!. The constable holds him and takes him to hang him.)
Gowardhndas ( shouts): Oh lord! I am innocent why are you hanging me to death. Oh brothers, just think about the dharma. Oh! oh! please leave me. I didn't listen to my Guruji that's why I am here, oh Guruji! oh, Guruji! , where are you?
(Then Guruji arrived ).
Guruji: Oh, what is wrong with you?
Gowardhandas( joining his hands and sobbing): Guruji, a goat died by getting buried under a wall which fell down, and that's why they are hanging me to death. Please save me Guruji, save me.
Guruji: Oh! Baccha I already warned you that it is not good or healthy to stay in such kind of town, but you didn't listen to me.
Goardhandas (holds Guruji's feet): I didn't listen to you, and that's why I am here, this is all my fault, please save me Guruji, save me.
Guruji: No worries, no worries, Narayan will solve everything.
Guruji( to the constables.): Hey, hear me out I want to give my last lesson to my disciple, you all just leave us alone.
Constables: okay, we'll go, you may give your last lesson to your disciple.
( After the constable leaves, Guruji starts explaining something in Gowardhandas 's ear)
Gowardhandas( with full joy): Then guruji, I want to be hanged right now.
Guruji: Array baccha, I explained to you so much, let me be hanged.
( Gowardhandas and Guruji start getting into a debate about getting hanged. They said that the one who would be hanged right now would go directly to heaven. The constable informs the Maharaj about this, and then Maharaj comes).
Maharaj: Guruji, why are you willing to be hanged?
Guruji: This is a very divine time, the one who will be hanged will directly go to heaven.
( the Mantri was standing at the back and he comes forward and says)
Mantri: If it is so then I will be hanged.
Gowardhandas: No! no! I will, I was sentenced. oh, constables, hang me up right now ( he shouts).
The policeman: I will be hanged, I was the real culprit.
Maharaj: Shut up you all, when I am here, no one can go to heaven in my presence. Hang me up, make it fast.
( the maharaj gets hangged to death)
MORAL; GREED IS VERY DANGEROUS, AS THE PEOPLE SO ARE THE KING.
Everyone in their family were happy to see the new born baby, but were moreover mourning for the untimely death of Mrs. Rachel. The baby girl was named Alice. Although Mr. John was in great misery, Alice somewhere helped him overcome his grief. After few years when Alice was around 2 years old, Mr. John's relatives and family advised him to get married again. It took some time for Mr. John to get convinced, and finally he was married again!
Mr. John's new wife was Mrs. Luna , who was very beautiful and she promised Mr. John that she'll take the best care of Alice. However, as time passed by, she was very harsh on the little girl Alice. She used to force Alice to perform difficult household chores which used to be difficult for the little 8 year old Alice to do. Alice's life became miserable.
One day Alice got late for the school, because she was busy with the household chores, indulged in mopping the floor which was assigned by her stepmother Luna. By the time she reached school, the school gate had already been closed and she couldn't attend her class. Alice waited outside the school gate for a while and then she went to a park situated near her school. She sat down on one of the benches of the park and started sobbing loudly. A lady who had been observing her from the time she entered the park, came close to her and asked, "Oh my dear why are you crying? ". Alice replied "I couldn't attend my school today, because I was late." Alice was sobbing continuously . The lady asked "Why were you late? " Alice said, "I was late because I was assigned to wipe the floor of my house by my stepmother". The lady said "aww my dear , stop crying , I am there for you". Alice said, "But who are you? ". The lady replied "I am your friend, can we be friends? Oh !actually best friends? Huh?". Alice said, "Okay, let's be friends but what's your name? The lady said, "You can call me Rachel." Alice was so happy and added: "Rachel was my mothers' name, hmmmm.....but she is no more", and then she started crying out even more loudly! With her soothing voice the lady consoled Alice and told her , "Okay, you can either call me mom or Rachel is simply good, it's upon you". Alice got back home happy, she was grateful that she found a friend.
One day, again she was crying in her room, because she was scolded by her stepmother harshly. The the lady came back again and started talking to Alice and she consoled her. Rachel told her: "You need to be strong my dear, you should fight for yourself, you have to study hard and make me proud. Study that's the only way you can overcome your weakness". Rachel motivated Alice because of which she got the enthusiasm to study hard, to work hard. After this incident Rachel used to meet her every day and she used to motivate her. Alice completed her studies and decided to become a teacher.
The day she got her job, Alice was much excited to meet Rachel and share her success. Alice was waiting for Rachel at the park, where they first met. Rachel arrived and exclaims "Congratulations, my dear, you did it". Alice hugged her, and thanked her for being the rain in her desert like world . Rachel was so proud of Alice, and she wished Alice luck for the rest of her life. Rachel explained . "My dear, never stop growing, when life sets you back, you must bounce back, you might not se me now, since I have to go where I am destined to be ,but you my brave girl shall never get weak". Alice got a bit emotional and she nodded. Rachel said, Good bye my dear, I will always love you!" And, she disappeared . Alice was startled seeing Rachel disappear all of a sudden. She couldn't think of doing anything . She got in a thought that Rachel might be her mother. Since she had never seen her mother's face. Her stepmother didn't keep any of Rachel's memory. Alice still wonders if Rachel was her mother or just her illusion.

The Rongichu water garden was established in 1975, for the people to come and relax in their leisure. The garden has lush greenery, settled in nature, sprawling land. It was a soothing place, the birds were chirping and the smell of those leaves made me feel alive. The weather was so calm,there were varieties of plants of bamboo different types of pines Lilly flower and much more the walkway in between was so beautiful, there were two swimming pools also and there was a river Rani Khola just below the garden, whose gargling was adding more pleasure and peace to the environment, there were some rules of the garden like we cannot litter the place, we cannot use the nature since we saw some of them had tatood their names on the woods of bamboos, were not allowed to leave the leftover boon fire since it can cause damage. These rules were discussed by Mr. Madhan Chettri, in charge of the garden. There was a powerhouse from the garden which is located a few miles after the garden there is a restaurant by the roadside hot maggie or waiwai noddles and other lots and cold beverages were available. Rongichu water is the best place for relaxing, and it is a beautiful picnic spot.

I was a good child of my parents . I was often teased by my elder brother and sister that I've been adopted . Which used to really affect me , I actually started believing it. I loved my parents and they loved me, they still do . We have a sweet family. My father always wakes up sharp at 4am and he goes for a walk. He is is very agile unlike me and my elder siblings. This is about that time when I was just a toddler , almost 9 years old. I used to study at "Little Bell's School".
It was the day of my examination. We had two exams in a day, one before lunch and one after the lunch. My first exam went well and it was the time of the lunchbreak, and I was very hungry, and the tragedy occurred then. My mom didn't arrive with my lunch and I was scared. The time was passing by, the lunch break was almost over, I was gazing at the corridors , but my mom didn't arrive. I went to the examination hall, with a awful face and an empty stomach. My teacher distributed the papers , he came near me and asked "what happened Sheetal? I replied with an almost crying face "I didn't eat my lunch and I am hungry . Unfortunately my teacher couldn't help me with food during exam. The way I gave the exam was very miserable since I couldn't bear with my hunger.
I completed my paper, went back home and cried and complained "Mumma why didn't you bring my lunch?". She was very sorry and she explained that she got so busy with a meeting in the bank that she got delayed . By the time she reached home and started preparing my lunch ,it was quite late. But still she rushed to the school and an aunt explained her that the school gates had been closed . The lunch break was over . But in reality I still waited for my mom, hoping that she'd get me a warm lunch to satiate my hunger . She didn't come . I cannot forget this day since I wrote my exam with an empty stomach.
Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was a great scientist. He was a blessing to our country. He was born in 'Rameshwaram' ,a small village, belonging from poor Muslim family. He was very fascinated by science, he was an intelligent student, he completed his graduation in Physics. At that time he didn't know much about what career options were there, then after completing his Bsc in physics, he decided to study at 'MIT' college. He was really fascinated by birds ,skies so he decided to opt for Aeronautics , but he belonged to a poor family and they couldn't afford the fee. But his sister mortgaged her jewellery for him and and they sent him to the college.
Personal tragedies, the time when he lost his father,mother, and his very close friend, who was his brother in law all are heart touching. The miseries that arrived at his door but he still flew so high. He wanted to join "Indian Air force" , but he didn't get selected. He became a scientist who made a significant contribution in developing the country, guided missile program, a pioneering effort for the security of the nation . It's not without a reason that he was nicknamed as the "Missile Man of India".
Although he died ,but he is still living in our hearts as he made himself eternal. His last words for the youth in "Wings of fire" were, "the youth lacks the clarity of vision". And he adds that problems are the part of the life and the sufferings are the essence of success. He inspires me by his words and his life story , his determination
